JIMS Annual Fest VERVE 2K24: The much-anticipated annual techno-management extravaganza, VERVE 2K24 was hosted by JIMS Rohini in an extremely creative unified way. JIMS Verve 2K24 was a vibrant celebration of creativity, unity, and vibrancy. The festival was organized by the talented and hardworking student committee. The fest was attended by students and faculty members from over 150 colleges and featured a variety of events, performances, and activities.
The overwhelming response of more than 7000 students made ‘’VERVE 2K24’’ a mega event where participants were invited from leading Management & IT colleges across the country. Prestigious colleges/ Institutes like SRCC, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Kirori Mal College, Khalsa College, Miranda House, Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, MDI Gurgaon, Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute, Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS), Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, IMT Ghaziabad, Amity, IIFT, Pusa Institute, Bharati Vidya Peeth and many more were amongst the participants.
The fest had numerous attractions like the battle of the bands, a Let's Rock, a full of the melodic journey with Sur Sangam and dance competitions like Double ka Dhamaka, Footloose dance competition, and a Choreography competition where students from a variety of colleges showed off their musical and dancing skills. The competition was fierce yet unique ensuring both participants as well as spectators an unforgettable night. It was sure to be a memorable evening for all involved.
The Inter College Film Festival displayed short films produced by various college students thus taking the viewers on a cinematic adventure into young minds full of aspirations to become filmmakers. The audience was captured by thought-provoking narratives and innovative storytelling reflecting how deep.
The festival also saw events like the grand Fashion show, and Envogue, which was full of amazing clothes, designs, hair and accessories, all created by the students, with a great emphasis on presentation, aesthetics and other features that captivated the audience. The festival also featured events such as Talent Unlimited, Business Plan, Debates, Code Generator, Lan Gaming, Battle of Brains, Chill Photography, Paper Craft, Psych Fiesta, Dramatic Monologue, Book Cover Design, Art of Mixology, Kuch Kook Hota Hai and much more, to cater to all kinds of audiences. The festival's culinary and other stalls also added to the festive atmosphere, making VERVE an amazing sensory experience.
From nearby top picks to universal flavours, the festival also had stalls which proved that they were truly a heaven for those looking to tantalize their taste buds. Day 1 saw a marvellous execution by DJ Tatva with Eshan Azgar wowed the gathering of people, making an air charged with expectation and excitement.
As the sun settled on day 2, the vitality moved to the most awaited finale – a star-studded concert highlighting the famous B Praak. The audience was enthralled by the melodious voice of B Praak and mesmerized by his graceful dance moves. Students were captured by his charm and were on their feet because of his energetic performance. VERVE will be a cherished part of the college's cultural legacy - an unforgettable experience showcasing the best of JIMS!
