Karnataka Weather:  Karnataka is likely to experience very heavy rainfall beginning Friday, June 7, according to India Meteorological Department. The same has been forecast for the Konkan coast. Rain along with thunderstorms are also expected over Northwestern states till Thursday.

For the next five days, the meteorological service has predicted sporadic, intense rains in several areas of Karnataka.

In the next few days, there's a good chance of heavy rainfall in Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema.

The IMD has issued a rain alert for the Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada regions until June 9.

IMD Rain Forecast For Hilly Regions

The IMD has predicted isolated to scattered light rainfall for the mountainous parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand during the next three to four days, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds.

Rain In Other Regions

The weather agency said that while Uttar Pradesh might see rain today or tomorrow, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi are quite likely to have very mild to light rainfall during the following two days.
