Lucknow: A shocking case has emerged from Lucknow, where the former manager of Dr Narayan Path Labs has been accused of tampering with patient reports. Ankur Verma, the former manager of the lab, allegedly changed the HIV-negative reports of many patients to positive. Additionally, he is accused of changing reports by significantly increasing or decreasing values, in some cases by up to one hundred times. Dr Archana Singh, the lab's owner, has filed an FIR at Vibhuti Khand Police Station against Ankur Verma.

Doctor Narayan Path Labs, located in the Vijayant Khand area of Lucknow, also has a branch at Dr KNS Memorial Hospital in Barabanki, Lucknow. Ankur Verma, who joined the pathology lab in April 2024, left his job in November due to differences and conflicts with the lab owners. After leaving, he did not return the mobile phone provided by the lab, which was used to send patient reports.

Later, the lab operators filed an FIR against Ankur, accusing him of tampering with several patient reports. Additionally, he is alleged to have hacked into the ID of Dr. Harsh Kulkarni, a pathology doctor, to manipulate patient reports.

Furthermore, Ankur Verma is also accused of threatening several staff members of the pathology lab. According to some working lab operators, certain invalid reports were not delivered to the patients, and the manipulation was discovered following suspicious behavior from Ankur. The Vibhuti Khand Police have filed an FIR and launched an investigation into the alleged case.
