The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has announced a disruption in power supply in Lucknow on Sunday. The power supply of Purvanchal, Vineet, Rohtas Presidential, Airtel, NTPC, CBDT, and Hilton feeders related to Gomti Nagar’s Vibhuti Khand power substation will remain disrupted from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm today.

Moreover, Behanruwa, Risaha Purva, and Ghulam Hussain Purva will also face a power cut during the time frame. The information regarding power cut in Uttar Pradesh's capital was given by Dheeraj Yadav, the Executive Engineer of Gomti Nagar.

In the area related to the Shakti power substation, the power supply of building SS 1000, S II 1100, MMD 1396, ED 1 to 400, to ED 1 to 1000, Sector D1 will remain closed from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. The power supply of Galla Mandi related to Ahibharanpur power substation will remain closed from 10 am to 5 pm.

Apart from these areas, Shivaji Marg, Hata Laxman Das, Sundarbagh, and the surrounding areas related to Vidhansabha Marg power substation will face a power cut from noon to 4 pm.

According to the Executive Engineer of Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT), there will be a power supply disruption in Satyarthi Dham, Arjak Colony, Bhuiya Devi Temple, NK Heritage, Sanjeevani Hospital, and Ram Janaki related to the GPRA power substation. Power supply of Sai Mandir, Khazana, and Rail Vihar related to Bangla Bazaar power substation will also be affected from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, while power supply of Pakri and Annapurna feeders will be affected from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Under the New Alambagh power substation, power supply will be disrupted in Committee Hall, Apna Park, and LDA Sector D from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. In Gopal Nagar, Bhola Kheda, Subhash Nagar, and Sindhu Nagar, the power supply will be disrupted from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm, and in Bargawan village, LDA Sector D and B from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

5,000 consumers to benefit with new transformer

Under the business plan for the Lucknow Central area, a power transformer of 5 MVA has been installed in the Raj Bhavan section. With the installation, over 5,000 consumers will benefit. The junior engineer of Jawahar Bhawan said that Hazratganj, Ashok Marg, Gokhale Marg, Shahnajaf Road, LaPlace Colony, Dainik Jagran Chauraha, Sikandarbagh, Sapru Marg, Jal Nigam Headquarters, National PG College, St. Francis College and the surrounding areas will benefit from the installation of the power transformer.
