Puja Special Trains: In a bid to manage the increased passenger traffic during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja, the Indian Railways has announced to run Puja special trains to ease the load on the regular train services.

In the latest addition to the initiative, there are several Puja Special Trains to halt at Gurakhpur, Ghaziabad, and New Delhi railway stations, benefiting passengers catching trains from these stations.  
 
The railway administration has provided stoppage for 22 Puja Special trains, including the Gorakhpur-New Delhi train, at Ghaziabad for the convenience of passengers.
 
Earlier, these trains didn't stop at Ghaziabad, despite a large number of passengers boarding and alighting there. Here are the details of some of the trains:

- New Delhi-Darbhanga Train (04450): Starts on September 29
 
- Darbhanga-New Delhi Train (04449): Starts on September 30
 
- New Delhi-Gorakhpur Train (04022): Started on September 19
 
- Gorakhpur-New Delhi Train (04021): Starts on September 20
 
- Delhi-Gorakhpur Train (05058): Runs from September 19 to October 31
 
- Gorakhpur-Delhi Train (05057): Runs from September 18 to October 30
 
- Anand Vihar Terminus-Saharsa Train (05576): Runs from September 23 to November 4
 
- Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminus Train (05575): Runs from September 24 to November 5
 

Ranchi-Ara Puja Special Train

Earlier, the South Eastern Central announced that it will operate two pairs of special trains: Train Nos. 08639/08640 Ranchi-Ara-Ranchi Puja Special and Train Nos 08183/08184 Tatanagar-Buxar-Tatanagar Special under the same initiative.
