To improve the pilgrims' journey to Puri, Odisha, for the famous Rath Yatra, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) launched a special mobile app called 'ECoR Yatra' on Tuesday. The Android app, which is already available for download on the Google Play Store, aims to provide real-time, dependable, and user-friendly railway services.

The software acts as a one-stop digital guide for travelers during the festival, according to an official release. It provides enthusiasts with thorough information about train timetables, special services, real-time updates, and passenger amenities so they may travel with confidence and convenience.

It also stated that the app is specifically made to give pilgrims and train passengers thorough and up-to-date information during the Rath Yatra. According to the statement, travelers may organise their trip, access transportation services, and receive information about railway facilities all through the ECoR Yatra App.

According to the announcement, the app will include details on normal train timetables, special train schedules, real-time train and station information, accommodations and tourist amenities, ticket kiosks, booking help, and more.

The Odisha government has announced a number of health-related initiatives, including the deployment of 378 healthcare personnel and 265 hospital beds to guarantee public safety during the annual religious celebration in Puri.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling stated that thorough plans have been prepared to tackle medical issues during the event, which attracts lakhs of devotees every year. According to Mahaling, in addition to 378 doctors and paramedics, 69 first-aid stations and 74 ambulances will be on standby in case of an emergency.
