R G Kar Case:  After a 31-year-old woman trainee doctor was found dead in mysterious conditions in the seminar hall of government-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in West Bengal's Kolkata, the state government on Friday said that it is open for any kind of investigation by a central agency in the case. This came after the family members, fellow doctors, and medical fraternity across the country demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the brutal rape and murder at a prominent medical college campus.
