Surat: A father and his two sons, owners of Nakshatra Safe House on Singanpore Causeway Road in Gujarat’s Surat, have been accused of stealing jewellery from people's lockers. The complaint stated that 206 tolas of gold jewellery worth Rs 2.68 crore was stolen. Apart from Singanpore, locker holders also visited the Nakshatra Safe branch in Varachha to check whether their jewellery and cash were safe.
Theft From Lockers Of 6 People
As news of a locker theft at the Nakshatra Safe House spread, many locker holders rushed to check if their jewellery and cash were safe. It was then discovered that six locker holders had been robbed. A complaint has been filed at the Singanpore police station.
A complaint has been filed at the Singanpore police station against the owner, Maheshbhai Dahyabhai Devra, and his two sons, Harsh Maheshbhai Devra and Harikrishna Maheshbhai Devra, as well as Manilal, who broke into the locker. Singanpore police have arrested all three in connection with the incident.

Locker holders flocked to other branches of the Nakshatra Safe House in Singanpore, as well as Varahacha, to ensure the safety of their valuables, fearing that their life savings might be stolen.
The police are currently interrogating the arrested accused to recover the stolen jewellery and to find out whether anyone else was involved in the conspiracy.
