Vande Bharat Train Launch: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday flagged off three new trains from Rajasthan, including two Vande Bharat trains connecting Rajasthan to the national capital. PM Modi flagged off the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt and Bikaner-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat train through video conferencing on September 25, marking a major step towards strengthening rail connectivity across the country.

Rajasthan Gets Three New Trains: Check List

In a bid to boost regional connectivity, three new trains were rolled out from Rajasthan today. The trains are: Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, Bikaner-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express and Udaipur-Chandigarh Express train.

Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat: Check Route, Timings, And Start Date

- Start Date: The Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express will officially commence its operations from September 27 from Jodhpur to Delhi Cantt and Delhi Cantt to Jodhpur.

- Schedule: Train No. 26481/26482 Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt-Jodhpur will run six days a week except Tuesdays.

- Coach Composition: The Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express will comprise eight coaches, including seven AC Chair Car coaches and one Executive Chair Car coach.

- Route: The train will depart from Jodhpur daily (except Tuesdays) and reach Delhi Cantt in eight hours, stopping at eight stations along the route. The train will have stoppages at Medwa Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, and Gurgaon stations.

- Timings: The train will depart from Jodhpur at 2:30 PM and reach Delhi Cantt at 11:10 PM the same day after stopping at Jaipur, Degana, Alwar and other stations.

Bikaner-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat: Check Route, Timings, And Complete Schedule

- Start Date: Train Number 26471/22472 Bikaner-Delhi Cantt-Bikaner Vande Bharat Express will launch its regular operations from September 28.

- Schedule: The Vande Bharat Express train will run six days a week (except Wednesdays).

- Coach Composition: The semi-high-speed train comprises seven air-conditioned Chair Car coaches and one executive air-conditioned chair car coach.

- Route: The Bikaner-Delhi Cantt-Bikaner Vande Bharat Train will run between Bikaner and Delhi Cantt and vice versa from September 28 via Shri Dungargarh, Ratanagadh, Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendragarh, and Gurgaon stations.

- Timings: The train is scheduled to leave Bikaner at 2:30 PM and reach Delhi Cantt at 9:05 PM, completing the journey in around eight hours.

Since there is a demand for Vande Bharat Express from Bikaner to Delhi, the railways finally fulfilled the public needs. There are lot of business men keep travelling between Bikaner and Delhi. The new train will bea boon to them," Deccan Herald quoted Gaurav Govil, Divisional Railway Manager, Bikaner Division, North Western Railway Zone, as saying.
