Railway News: In a significant push towards improving rail connectivity, a new superfast express will run between Chandigarh and Udaipur, providing a direct rail link between the two cities. The superfast train service is expected to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 25, along with the launch of two Vande Bharat trains from Rajasthan.

Two Vande Bharat Express trains, including Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt and Bikaner-Delhi Cantt, will be flagged by PM Modi on September 25, Jagran.com reported. Preparations are in full swing from Delhi to Ambala with the rake of Vande Bharat trains already arriving in Rajasthan. These new services are expected to improve connectivity and reduce travel time, benefiting commuters between North India and Rajasthan.

Udaipur-Chandigarh Superfast Express: Check Route, Timings, Other Details

- The Udaipur-Chandigarh-Udaipur Superfast Express received a nod from the Northern Railway and is expected to run bi-weekly between the two cities.

- Train Number 20989 Udaipur-Chandigarh Superfast Express will depart from Udaipur City at 4:05 PM and arrive in Chandigarh at 9:50 AM the following day.

- Its return leg, Train Number 20990 Chandigarh-Udaipur Superfast Express, will leave Chandigarh at 11:20 AM and arrive in Udaipur at 5:30 AM the next day.

- The train will halt at key stations including Rana Pratap Nagar Udaipur, Mavli Junction, Kapasan, Chanderia, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Phulera, Jaipur, Gandhinagar (Jaipur), Dausa, Bandikui, Rajgarh, Alwar, Rewari, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Jind, Narwana, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Ambala Cantt.

Delhi-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Train: Check Route, Timings

- A new Vande Bharat Express is slated to run between Jodhpur and Delhi Cantt, significantly reducing travel time and enhancing connectivity along this busy route.

- The Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt will cover the distance in eight hours, departing from Jodhpur at 5:30 AM and reaching Delhi Cantt at 1:30 PM.

- On its return journey, the train will depart from Delhi at 3:10 PM and arrive in Jodhpur at 11:15 PM.

- In its journey, the semi-high-speed train will stop at several key stations, including Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, and Gurugram.
