Instructions

First, wash the okra pods thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides.

Slice the bhindi into small pieces. This increases the surface area and helps in extracting more nutrients.

In a pot, bring two cups of water to a boil. Add the sliced okra and let it boil for about 10-15 minutes until the water becomes slightly thick and slightly slimy.

After boiling, let the water cool down. Once cooled, strain the okra pieces using a fine sieve or cloth to collect the mucilaginous water in a bowl.

You can store the okra water in the refrigerator for up to a week.
