International Girl Child Day 2023 History And Significance

A significant step was taken to advance women's rights in 1995 when nations endorsed the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action at the World Conference on Women. The International Day of the Girl Child was established by the UN General Assembly in 2011 to address issues around the world.

During their formative years and the rest of their lives, adolescent girls ought to live in safety, education, and health. If given assistance, they can develop into strong, independent women who can play a variety of roles, including those of employers, moms, entrepreneurs, mentors, household heads, and political leaders.
