Mumbai Tide News: The weather in Mumbai currently feels pleasant as the monsoon rain is in full swing in the city of dreams, bringing temperatures down. The weather officials have anticipated potential Tides in coastal areas of the city in the next few days, as a safety alert has been issued. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has asked citizens to stay alert and exercise caution as waves in the Arabian Sea are expected to rise above 4.5 metres. 

Mumbai Tides Schedule

The highest tide of this monsoon is expected to occur on June 26, with waves in the Arabian Sea expected to rise to a daunting height of 4.75 metres, the Times of India reported.

As the weather department predicted tides in the sea, the BMC has issued a safety alert urging residents to avoid visiting beaches, promenades, and other coastal areas during the high tide periods to prevent any possible unfortunate incidents. The corporation has asked citizens to stay away from the Seashore. 

The weather department has released a schedule of dates and times, along with tide information, to ensure that all residents are well-informed about the event and any potential mishaps are prevented. 

The Tides are expected to occur on the following dates and times-

Wednesday, June 25- The Tide is expected to occur around 12:05 pm with a potential height of 4.59 metres. 

Thursday, June 26- The expected time is 12:55 pm, and the tides are likely to be the highest of this monsoon at 4.75 metres. 

Friday, June 27- A tide with a potential height of 4.73 metres is likely to occur at 1:40 pm.

Saturday, June 28- The height of the tide is to be 4.64 metres, and the timing of occurrence is expected to be 2:26 pm.
