BMC Polls: Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) election, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has asked his supporters to stay vigilant. Thackeray stated that it will be the "last crucial election" for Marathi community, adding that they will suffer if the BJP-led Mahayuti wins. While addressing his supporters at the inauguration of the MNS' Konkan Mahotsav, Thackeray asked them to stay vigilant by claiming that "Mumbai should not slip out of hand" at any cost. The MNS workers have been involved in several assault cases against the non-Marathi speakers, allegedly to promote the regional culture and language.
Thackeray asked the supporters to stay vigilant by identify the fake voters, adding that the capital city will slip out of the Marathi community if the ruling alliance wins. "Do not be careless..Keep an eye on your surroundings... Moves are underway to gain control over Mumbai, so you stay alert. Pay close attention to who the genuine voters are around you and who the fake ones are," Thackeray stated.

"This Mumbai Municipal Corporation election will be the last one for the Marathi people. If this election slips from our hands, Mumbai will slip from the hands of the Marathi people," the MNS founder added. Apart from this, he also pointed out that the voter list had many irregularities, further asking the supporters to ensure the authenticity of the voters. "It is important for you to pay attention to whether the voters are genuine or bogus," he said.

BMC Polls: Thackeray Brothers Join Hands
Ahead of the much-hyped BMC polls, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray joined hands after two decades for a common goal- to protect the family's dominance on the city. The Thackeray brothers, along with the NCP and Congress, will take on the Mahayuti alliance, led by the BJP.
