New Delhi | Jagran Technology Desk: Tech giant Apple has confirmed the date for its big event this year when it will host the launch of the new iPhones. The American company sent out invitations on Thursday to a September 10 event at its Silicon Valley campus where it is expected to unveil a new-generation iPhone.
In its trademark, tight-lipped style, Apple disclosed little about what it plans to spotlight in the Steve Jobs Theater at its headquarters in the city of Cupertino.
New iPhones are expected to boast improvements including ramped-up processing power and camera capabilities, but no radical changes or offerings for super-speedy 5G telecom networks that are starting to take shape.

Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone 11 models this year. The iPhone XS Max can see an upgrade, while the iPhone XS and the iPhone XR might also be seen in new avatars.
There is also expectation that one of the new iPhones will support the Apple Pencil—but it is anyone’s guess if that will be the successor to the iPhone XS Max or an even bigger iPhone, something on the lines of an iPhone Pro.
Then there would be the big software updates, including the roadmap for the final releases of iOS 13 for the iPhones and the iPod Touch, iPadOS for the iPad line-up, macOS for the Mac devices and the next watchOS for the Apple Watch series.
According to the reports online, the latest iPhone 11 will sport a square camera module, akin to Google’s teased Pixel 4. The number of camera sensors will also be increased to accommodate an additional ultra-wide angle sensor.

The new iPhones will also deliver better lowlight images and video recording capabilities. The iPhone XR successor will be upgraded with dual rear cameras to offer optical zoom support.
Apple will also improve facial recognition technology, also known as FaceID, on the new iPhones. There will be improvements in the performance department as well. Apple iPhone 11 series will debut with A14 Bionic chip which is likely to bring smart machine learning capabilities and other device optimizations.
The company is also expected to add bigger batteries to the setup and also offer an upgraded processor.
