JE Technology Desk: Snapchat introduced My AI, the company's AI-powered chatbot, two months ago for its users. Since its introduction, 150 million+ users have sent more than 10 billion messages to the chatbot, reveals Snapchat. The company shared insights on popular conversation topics with My AI in countries including the US, India, France and Great Britain.
Here are a few insights from the data shared by Snapchat:

Creativity
Snapchat revealed that over 100 million users ask for a good joke or something similar to start a conversation. After this, close to six million conversations ask for art and design inspiration from My AI. Around four million users looked for lessons on playing guitar and composing songs.
Travel
Speaking of travel, around five million conversations revolved around top tourist destinations, one million around visits to Disneyland, Disney World and similar theme destinations. Nearly one million conversations revolved around hotels and other travel accommodations.

Food
Out of the total messages, around five million explored restaurant recommendations. McDonalds was the talking point in five million chats, and pizza conversations appeared in a staggering eight million conversations.
Fitness and Beauty
On the fitness and personal care front, 12 million chats were centred around "skincare, makeup, nail care, fragrance, sunscreen and other cosmetics", 11 million talked about hair care routine, and eight million wished to know more about fitness.
Shopping and gadgets
Over 16 million users discussed clothing and apparel, and 4 million asked My AI about mobiles.
One of the top talked-about categories was pets with 25 million queries. One of the top talking points was cars, with 65 million chats. Speaking of education, 5 million conversations centred around education institutions, three million around languages, and over 1 million users talked about historical events, including Cold War, Industrial Revolution and more.
While these offer deep insights into the activity taking place on the artificial intelligence tool, this raises concerns around search data tracking by companies. Seeing the rising trend of AI tools across the world and the risks associated with them tech companies around the world have flagged concerns the data leak and have restricted the use of such AI tools in the workplace.
