After launching the Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60, Motorola is now preparing to introduce the Motorola Edge 60 in India. The company has officially confirmed that the device will launch on June 10 and will be available through Flipkart, Motorola's official website, and select retail partners across the country.

Positioned just below the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, the new Edge 60 is expected to offer a balanced mix of performance and design, along with features typically seen in higher-end models. It will be available in two colour options and has already been teased by the brand on social media, revealing some key highlights, including its display technology, camera setup, RAM, and Moto AI features.

Durable Build with Military-Grade Certification

The Motorola Edge 60 is expected to bring military-grade durability, suggesting it’s built to withstand tougher conditions—an attractive proposition for mid-range smartphone buyers looking for a reliable daily driver.

Expected Specifications

The device is confirmed to feature a 1.5K quad-curved display, likely a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,400 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection. Under the hood, it will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, coupled with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

Software-wise, the phone is expected to launch with Android 15, with Motorola promising three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches. It may also include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 6 support.

Powering the device will likely be a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging, making it suitable for users who prioritise quick top-ups and extended battery life. Additionally, an IP69 rating is expected, offering resistance to dust and water.

Camera Capabilities

On the camera front, leaks suggest a dual rear camera system featuring a 50MP Sony LYT700C sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens with 3X optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, the front may house a 50MP sensor as well, matching the rear cameras in resolution.
