Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo showcased a host of laptops at the Mobile World Congress 2024. Amid the range of products, the company's transparent concept laptop is gaining massive limelight. The 'Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop Concept' has a borderless 17.3-inch micro-LED transparent screen. According to Lenovo, the device has a transparent keyboard space and a floating footpad design, which helps blend the appearance of the device with the surrounding environment.

According to Lenovo, users can switch between the keyboard and drawing board via the compatible pen to perform creative tasks and other productive operations. The display will offer high colour saturation and contrast with 1,000nits peak brightness for enhanced viewing across indoor and outdoor environments. The brand also emphasised the capabilities of the screen with the blend of AI.

According to The Verge, the display has up to 55 per cent transparency once black content appears on the screen or when it is not awake. Once the pixels light up, the display increasingly becomes opaque as a white surface. The screen has a 720p resolution. It has a flat touch panel which you can touch to press the keys on the keyboard without physically pressing one. You can use it as a drawing board by toggling modes.

Apart from this, the laptop maker also introduced the ThinkPad T14 i Gen 5, ThinkPad T14s Gen 5, ThinkPad T16 Gen 3, ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2 and ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4. On a related note, Motorola and Lenovo also showcased an adaptive display smartphone that can adapt to attach to a user's wrist. It comes with a 6.9-inch pOLED screen with FHD+ resolution.

Meanwhile, Lenovo has a track record of introducing prototypes at global tech events. The company earlier showcased the rollable laptop, the screen of which can expand with a press of a button.
