CMF has made its first move into the Bluetooth speaker market with two new products, the Speaker S and Speaker M. Both models debuted in select global markets on Tuesday, with a clear difference in size and audio hardware. The Speaker S is the smaller of the two, while the Speaker M packs a more powerful speaker system.
The new speakers will go on sale through the Nothing website in global markets soon. Both are available in four colours, and the Speaker M has already appeared on the Nothing India website, hinting at an upcoming launch in the country.
CMF Speaker S, Speaker M Specifications and Features
The biggest difference between the two speakers is their audio hardware. The CMF Speaker S has a single 45mm full-range driver with a 10W RMS output. The Speaker M takes a different approach, pairing a 70mm woofer with a 16mm tweeter for a combined output of 35W RMS.

The woofer accounts for 25W of output, while the tweeter delivers 10W. The Speaker M also has a wider low-frequency reach, with a frequency response of 60Hz to 20,000Hz. The Speaker S covers 70Hz to 20,000Hz.
Both models include Wide Soundstage and Ultra Bass, along with a Custom EQ for adjusting the sound. A dedicated Night Mode is also available, giving users another listening option when they do not want their audio to be too loud.
Battery life is rated at up to 18 hours on both speakers, according to CMF. The Speaker M has a 4,900mAh battery, compared with the 2,600mAh unit inside the Speaker S. Charging times differ as well, with the larger model taking around three hours to charge fully and the smaller one needing approximately two and a half hours.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0, with both speakers supporting a wireless range of up to 10 metres. They work with AAC and SBC codecs, while LC3 support is available for Auracast Audio only.
CMF has also included dual connection support, Stereo Mode and Party Mode on both models. Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair are supported, too, making it easier to pair the speakers with compatible phones and computers.
Both devices carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Their physical controls include a power button, a multifunction knob, a Bluetooth pairing button and a separate Auracast button.
With two different sizes and power outputs, CMF is giving buyers a choice between a compact speaker and a larger model with a more elaborate driver setup. The UK prices are confirmed, but details of the Indian launch, including pricing and availability, remain under wraps.
CMF Speaker S, Speaker M Price and Availability
The CMF Speaker S costs GBP 49 (around Rs. 6,000) in the UK. Those looking for the more powerful Speaker M will have to pay GBP 99 (roughly Rs. 12,000). Nothing has yet to confirm the exact date when either model will go on sale in the UK.

There is also a sign of an India launch, with the CMF Speaker M now listed on the Nothing India website. However, the page does not mention a price or launch date, so buyers will have to wait for the company to share those details. Pricing and availability for the Speaker S in India have not been confirmed either.
