HMD Global-owned Nokia has launched yet another mid-range phone ‘Nokia G42’ for the Indian market. The smartphone has a series of impressive features, decent RAM, and a better display. The smartphone, as per the company, has gone through a lot of drop tests and is made from 65 per cent recyclable materials.

Nokia G42 5G Specifications:

The all-new Nokia G42 gets a massive 6.56-inch display with a refresh rate panel of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 560 nits. The smartphone gets additional protection with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the smartphone draws its power from the Octa Core Snapdragon 480+ chipset which is offered with the Adreno 619 GPU for better performance. The smartphone comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage which is expandable to 1 TB via MicroSD card.

The Nokia G42 runs on the Android 13-based skin and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. The company also promises two years of Android upgrades and three years of security patches.

The smartphone gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dust and splash-resistant (IP52 Rated) body and more prominent features. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone gets 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C 2.0.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary shooter, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro lens along with LED flash and different modes. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone gets an 8 MP front camera.

Nokia G42 5G Price In India:

The all-new Nokia G42 5G comes with a price tag of Rs 12,599 and is available in a single 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. It will be available on Amazon starting from September 15.
