OnePlus officially announced that its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15 5G, will launch on October 27 at 7:00 PM local time in China. The firm made the announcement on Weibo in the form of a teaser post, hinting at what's turning out to be one of its most polished smartphones ever. In addition to the flagship, OnePlus will also launch the Ace 6, a performance-focused phone that has only been teased so far. Both phones are already up for listings on OnePlus' official Chinese shopfronts, with pre-reservations already available.

Global Launch Timeline
In the pattern of past launches, the OnePlus 15 5G will launch in India and the rest of the world in January 2026. The company usually launches its flagship initially in China followed by international regions after a few months.
Expected Price in India
The OnePlus 15 5G in India will be priced in the Rs. 70,000–75,000 segment, placing it squarely in the premium segment of smartphones. The pricing thus pits it against the Samsung Galaxy S25, iPhone 17, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
Refined Design and Build
It is reported that OnePlus has gone all out for both looks and build quality this time. OnePlus 15 will reportedly have a metal body with a micro-arc oxidation coating for enhanced scratch and dent resistance. A new "Sand Storm" color variant may also see the light of day. The rear is speculated to be made of fibreglass, which will provide lightness without compromising on strength. The camera module is said to be redesigned, and the "Plus Key", an option to configure a shortcut button, may make its return after user requests.
Performance and Cameras
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor will power the device, promising top-tier performance and improved efficiency. Reports indicate that OnePlus is also integrating an enhanced cooling system for smoother gaming and heavy multitasking.
Camera-wise, the OnePlus 15 might have a triple 50MP setup with wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto sensors. Interestingly enough, OnePlus might abandon its Hasselblad partnership in favour of its in-house imaging system known as DetailMax, which will be specifically designed to provide improved colour accuracy and detail.
