Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold 5G: The launch of the Google Pixel 10 5G series is just weeks away, and as the buzz builds, we’re getting a clearer look at what to expect—especially from the foldable model. While Google has already begun teasing its upcoming flagships, new leaks have now revealed the design and colour options for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold 5G. The foldable isn't radically different from last year's model, though there are some nuanced changes that suggest an improved strategy.

New Colour Options: Farewell Obsidian, Hello, Jade and Moonstone.

This year, Google seems to be revamping the palette. Android Headlines reports that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold 5G will come in Jade and Moonstone. These colours are also said to make an appearance on the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL.

Jade: A combination of pistachio green tinged with a subtle soft gold

Moonstone: A metallic blue colour with a cool, shiny finish

Slightly Smaller Cover Display With a Narrower Appearance

Design-wise, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold doesn't deviate much from the one before it, but one of the obvious upgrades is a marginally bigger 6.4-inch cover screen, from 6.3 inches. The increment is minor, probably made possible by thinner bezels and an improved hinge design. Apart from that, the overall foldable form factor is unchanged.

Expected Specs: Tensor G5, Larger Battery, and Enhanced Durability

Inside, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold 5G should boast Google's most up-to-date Tensor G5 chip, based on TSMC's N3E process—providing performance and efficiency improvements over previous generations.

Battery capacity should also increase by an 8% hike to about 5,015 mAh. On the camera side, leaks suggest a triple-lens rear configuration:

  • 48 MP main sensor
  • 10.5 MP ultrawide lens
  • 10.8 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom
  • Both the cover and main displays will probably feature a 10 MP front camera.

IP68 Rating May Be a First for Foldables

The most significant change might be adding an IP68 rating, which would make the Pixel 10 Pro Fold the first foldable to achieve such water and dust resistance. That would be a significant step up in foldable durability—a segment that has yet to solve long-term wear and tear.

With only weeks to go, formal confirmation is imminent. But if the leaks are correct, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold 5G may be setting out to make the foldable formula even more polished, even more robust—combined with brash new colours and improved internals.
