Looks like Samsung is getting ready to launch another set of budget smartphones in India. The upcoming Galaxy A08, Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 have now been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, a certification that usually appears before a device goes official in the country.
The listing doesn't reveal anything about the hardware, but it does suggest that Samsung is preparing to introduce the three phones in India soon.

Galaxy A08, F08 and M08 appear on BIS
The certification, first spotted by SammyGuru, includes all three smartphones with their respective model numbers. The Galaxy A08 has been listed as SM A085F/DS, while the Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 carry the model numbers SM E085F/DS and SM M085F/DS, respectively.
The DS branding indicates dual SIM support, which is standard across Samsung's budget lineup. Apart from confirming the devices exist, the BIS listing doesn't shed light on their specifications or launch date.
Don't expect three completely different phones
If Samsung sticks to its usual strategy, the Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 are unlikely to be entirely new devices. The company has a history of launching the same smartphone under different series with only minor tweaks, such as colour options, software features or where they're sold.
That means the Galaxy A08 is expected to serve as the base model, while the F08 and M08 could arrive as rebranded versions aimed at different online and offline markets.
What the new Galaxy phones could offer
The three smartphones are expected to replace the Galaxy A07, Galaxy F07 and Galaxy M07, which arrived in India in October last year.
If Samsung follows a similar formula, buyers can expect a familiar set of features. The current models come with a 6.7 inch HD+ display, MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. They also carry an IP54 rating, offering basic protection against dust and water splashes.
Camera hardware includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor on the back along with a secondary camera, while selfies and video calls are handled by an 8 megapixel front camera.
Battery life has been one of the highlights of the existing models, thanks to a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging. Samsung also promises six major Android updates and six years of security patches, making them some of the longest supported phones in the budget segment.

Samsung has not announced when the Galaxy A08, Galaxy F08 and Galaxy M08 will launch. However, now that the trio has appeared on the BIS database, an official announcement is unlikely to be too far away.
