JE Technology Desk: Twitter recently made headlines for a job posting feature, which is now going live for Verified Organisations, according to T(w)itter Daily News. However, it could be limited to the United States as of now. This update will put the microblogging app next to the social networking and professional platform LinkedIn which is in the business of job posting and corporate affairs.
While the company did not make an official announcement when the media first reported about the feature, Elon Musk retweeted @TitterDaily's tweet, adding an official touch to the affairs.

"Job listings on companies' Twitter profiles are going live! Try it out at @workweekinc's page," @TitterDaily, in a tweet, said. When we tried viewing the profile from India, no job listings appeared on the page, which hints it has not been rolled out in the country. Retweeting the post, Elon Musk said in the comments: But please don't be super cringe like LinkedIn."
Once the feature is live, the listed job postings will appear at the top of the "Tweets" tab on an organisation's profile. According to app researcher Nima Owji, "Twitter will let verified organisations import all of their jobs to Twitter by connecting a supported ATS or XML feed!" In the screenshot shared by Owji, Twitter Hiring is stated as a "free feature for Verified Organisations" that allows them to post jobs on their profile to draw top talents for open roles.
A company will be able to add up to five postings as 'Featured Jobs' on their profile so that the users can view the vacancies once they view the company's page. Currently, the 'Twitter Hiring' profile on the platform has not tweeted anything yet, at the time of filing.
Speaking of Verified Organisations, the base subscription price of the plan is Rs 82,300 per month in India. It comes with features like verification management, Custom Profiles, Impersonation defense, Premium support, Twitter Blue and access to more tweets, DMs and media uploads.
