Telangana Weather Today: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad in its forecast issued a thunderstorm and gusty winds alert for multiple Telangana districts. As per the weather body, several districts will also continue to witness severe heatwave-like conditions with temperatures ranging between 41 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius thereafter. Telangana has been witnessing significant weather changes in the past couple of days, transitioning from intense heat to severe thunderstorms and gusty winds, and then returning to severe heat wave like conditions.

IMD, Hyderabad has issued an alert for thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanamkonda district.

Telangana Weather: Orange Alert For Heatwave-Like Conditions In THESE Districts

IMD, Hyderabad has issued an orange alert for intense dry heatwave-like conditions in Adilabad, Kothagudem, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kumarambheem Asifabad, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, Nalgonda, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla and Suryapet between April 27 and May 1. The temperatures during this time is likely to range between 41 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius.

On May 1, IMD, Hyderabad has issued an orange alert for all districts with maximum temperatures ranging from 41 degree Celsius and 44 degree Celsius. On Sunday, while there were no major thunderstorm events reported, cloudy conditions brought temperatures significantly down in Hyderabad, bringing much needed respite for general public.
