Dune Part Two OTT Release Date: 'Dune' is currently one of the most popular film franchises and its second part was recently released in theatres. The movie became a blockbuster worldwide and received a lot of praise for its interesting storyline and performances. After much await, 'Dune Part Two' will release on the OTT platform in India. Timothee Chalamet plays the role of Paul Atreides, who is the Duke of House Atreides, whereas, Zendaya plays the role of Chani, a young Fremen woman and Paul's love interest.

'Dune Part Two' will reportedly be released in India on JioCinema on May 21.

After the massive success of 'Dune Part Two', the makers have decided to expand this franchise and announced a series titled 'Dune: Prophecy'. The series will be set 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides. Bollywood star Tabu will also be seen in this series in the role of Sister Francesca.

The official synopsis of 'Dune Prophecy' reads, "Set within the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.”

Talking about 'Dune' film franchise, it also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem. Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux were the new additions.
