Ram Navami 2025: Traffic and security plans have been planned in Ayodhya for the massive festivities of Ram Navami on Sunday. IG Ayodhya Range Praveen Kumar stated that Ayodhya has been divided into many zones and sectors. Heavy trucks would be routed along the Purvanchal Expressway to avoid disruption for pilgrims.

He stated that alternative arrangements similar to those established during the Maha Kumbh had been put in place.

"Paramilitary forces, along with PAC and civil police, will be deployed for security. Meanwhile NDRF, SDRF, and water police are also on alert around Saryu river,” the IG said.

According to him, regular pilgrims will be given preference for temple visits during peak hours, which are from 9 am to noon, and all special passes for the Ram Temple will be canceled.

The government has finished making all the necessary arrangements for pilgrims traveling to Ayodhya for the Ram Navami festival to visit and pray, said Ayodhya Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal.

Heat Relief And Safety Measures For Pilgrims

To guarantee that pilgrims have no difficulties, preparations have been made. Dayal stated that lessons learned from crowd management technologies during the Maha Kumbh have been implemented to manage crowds and give pilgrim services.

To protect pilgrims from the heat and sun, shade and mats have been set up at significant sites such as the Ram Temple and Hanuman Garhi, according to the Divisional Commissioner, who also stated that cold drinking water will be provided at all major locations.

Given the heat, ORS solutions are accessible from all of these officials as well as all temporary health centres at the fair grounds. There are enough doctors assigned to the 14 temporary primary health facilities that the health department has established. In addition, there are 108 ambulances on standby at around seven places for emergency usage right away.

A committed group of sanitation workers from the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has been sent in to perform routine morning, afternoon, and evening cleaning in accordance with the Chief Minister's directives.
