GDA Housing Scheme: The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) earlier said that the work on phase 1 of its 523-hectare Harnandipuram housing project may get underway in the first quarter of 2025. Now, on Tuesday, under the direction of VC Atul Vats, three companies gave a presentation on the Harnandipuram scheme at the GDA auditorium.

He provided advice on how to design the scheme while considering the location by incorporating residential, commercial, and other full schemes.

When residential and commercial complexes are developed under the Harnandipuram scheme, the corporations explained what kinds of provisions might be made for water drainage, drainage systems, and to deal with pollution. He also thoroughly explained how this plan will connect internal and external highways, stating that it will be connected to all the major roads.

The authority officials questioned the corporate representatives who presented the plan. The company officials stated that they could create a better plan for the program if the authorities wanted to alter any of its specifics. The Ghaziabad Development Authority informed that these businesses must get 70 points to be eligible for the financial bid.

The committee will provide marks following the three companies' presentations. The financial bid will be opened upon qualifying. After that, the work order will be sent out. The authorities will pay the corporation according to the DPR's per hectare rate. Attending the presentation were Rajesh Kumar Singh, the secretary of the Ghaziabad Development Authority; Pradeep Kumar Singh, the additional secretary; Manvendra Kumar Singh, the chief engineer-in-charge; Ashok Vajpayee, the finance controller; and others.
