The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has restarted stalled road projects in the Rajnagar Extension area, with work now underway on multiple routes.

Construction has begun on a 30-metre-wide road from Agarwal Heights to Bhatta No. 5, with earth-filling work already in progress on acquired land in Morti village after farmers gave their consent. Chief Engineer-in-charge Alok Ranjan and senior officials inspected the site on Saturday. The project had been delayed earlier due to disagreements with farmers.

Work has also started on the 18-metre wide road connecting Bandha Road to Noor Nagar, where earth-filling and sewer line laying are in progress. Meanwhile, construction of a 24-metre-wide road from River Heights Society to Noor Nagar is ongoing.

GDA Vice-Chairperson Atul Vats announced that the Outer Ring Road of Rajnagar Extension will be expanded to 60 metres, instead of the earlier planned 45 metres. The survey for the project has been completed, and construction will commence once land acquisition is finalised.
