Ghaziabad Real Estate Scam: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has tightened its grip on two big builders in Ghaziabad district. After the Supreme Court's order, the CBI team is investigating the alleged collusion between the builder and the banks. In this connection the CBI team reached the GDA office and asked for the original documents related to the projects of both the builders on Wednesday, jagran.com reported.

The projects under the surveillance of CBI include Red Apple, Idea Builder and Manju J Homes India Limited. The team has sought ownership rights, approved maps and other original documents of the closed projects of Manju J Homes India Limited and Idea Builder Private Limited located in Rajnagar Extension from GDA.

GDA officials have said that the process will be completed as per the rules. Additional Secretary Pradeep Kumar Singh said that the CBI team came on Wednesday. They have asked for the original documents of two builders. A letter has been taken in writing from the team. As soon as the process is completed, the relevant documents will be given as per the rules.

The money of more than a thousand allottees is stuck in these two projects. The builders have stopped work on the site for a long time. Buyers have complained to various places including RERA and many have also filed cases in Nandgram police station.

The CBI team also went to Rajnagar Extension and inspected the current status of the project. It is alleged that the builders have committed fraud worth crores.
