A direct flight service from Amausi Airport (Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport) to Srinagar commenced on March 30. Operated by IndiGo Airlines, the daily service is set to use a 186-seater Airbus A-320 aircraft, making Srinagar the 33rd destination from the airport.

Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), is a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited. This new route will enhance connectivity for travelers heading to Srinagar, often referred to as the Venice of the East, and aligns with efforts to improve air travel from Lucknow to key destinations.

Currently, CCSIA handles an average of 20,500 passengers daily, with over 136 flight operations. In the first nine months of 2024-25, the airport recorded more than 5.21 million passengers and an all-time high of nearly 39,000 air traffic movements (ATMs).
