UP Weather: After two days of dry weather, light rain and thunderstorms are now expected in some Uttar Pradesh districts. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) light rain may occur in the Terai regions on Thursday, April 17. The weather body added that light rain and thunderstorms are expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh on Friday, April 18. Similar conditions are likely to prevail till April 20. During this time, strong gusty winds can also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. The weather will become clear in eastern and western UP from April 21.

Due to the change in weather, there is a fluctuation in day and night temperatures. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of Bulandshahr and Fatehpur reached 40 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Lucknow was recorded 37.4 degrees Celsius, jagran.com reported.

As per IMD, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and light rain in many districts of eastern and central Uttar Pradesh on April 18, 19, and 20 including Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bagpat, Meerut, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur.

Gusty winds may blow in some districts, due to which a sudden change in the weather is likley. Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Kanpur Dehat, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur may feel hot and humind conditions during the night.

Temperature In Uttar Pradesh In Coming Days

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of UP may gradually increase by two to three degrees Celsius during the next to three days. After which there is no possibility of any major change. At the same time, the minimum temperature may gradually increase by two degrees in the next five days.
