BTS V And Jimin's Heartfelt Hug: June 12 ended up being a ‘super emotional’ day for the BTS ARMY. Not only did the ‘world's most handsome man’, at least in ARMYs’ eyes- Jin- return from his mandatory military service, but fans also witnessed a wholesome moment between two of their favourites. If you haven’t already heard, fans just got another heartwarming V and Jimin moment during Jin’s military discharge, which is going viral. Still confused? Allow us to elaborate. Jin finally returned and, as per BigHit’s statement, no special event was planned for the discharge, apart from the ceremony itself.

During the ceremony, doing what they do for all the major ceremonies, the entire boy band, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope and RM, except for Suga, attended it to meet and greet each other. However, amid all the greetings, the two who grabbed ARMY’s attention for a wholesome moment were Jimin and V. The two, as soon as they saw each other, began to hug. The other members also hugged, but the one where V and Jimin embraced each other, ‘felt like home’ to most ARMYs.

Taking to social media, people began to share their take on the videos and pictures that went viral. From calling the two the ‘perfect soulmates’ to whatnot, admirers flooded the internet with their reactions.

For those unaware, the boy band is currently serving in South Korea’s mandatory military service. Jin became the first to get discharged today, on June 12. The idol will also attend the BTS Festa 2024, which will celebrate BTS’ 11th anniversary on June 13. The band will reportedly make a comeback in 2025.
