Budget 2024: It's that time of the year again when Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman does her ‘thing’ and drops the ‘Budget bomb’ on the nation and leaves Indians either confused or stunned by her financial plans and calculations. Not to forget the section that is left impressed every year on February 01. This year too, the story went no different; soon after FM Sitharaman announced the Interim Budget for the Financial Year 2024, people began to react in all kinds of ways. From the ever-famous ‘middle class’ jokes to the ‘finding it hard to understand’ memes, all the Budget ‘craze’ was quick to make a comeback on social media.

In addition to all, with the ‘Maldives vs Lakshadweep showdown’ making a wildcard entry mere weeks before the Budget, the Lakshadweep ‘development Budget’ plans also turned into a major meme source.

Taking to the internet, the netizens left no opportunity ‘un-taken’ and shared all kinds of memes. The Interim Budget was presented today, February 01, by the FM in the Parliament. With the Interim Budget being announced just before the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, it would be the last before Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government ends its second consecutive term in the Centre.
