Viral Video: The level of confidence some miscreants carry while committing a crime is simply hard to believe some of the time. Exemplifying something similar, a thief left the internet speechless with his ‘confidence’, after a video of him allegedly stealing a phone went viral. The reason behind such virality was that the crime was committed at a Jodhpur restaurant in broad daylight. The thief seemingly slipped his hand under the chair, and took the phone, while the unaware owner continued with his food and his interaction with another man. The incident was caught on the CCTV camera that was installed nearby.

The CCTV footage, soon after going viral, mostly raised questions about the owner being completely ‘unaware’ of a crime that otherwise would have easily been caught. The date of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘abesalleteritho’. The post was captioned, “This is a video from last night and this boy came quietly and stole a phone very easily without any fear.”

As the video went viral, it also came to the notice of the police, who began to investigate. “The concerned have been directed to take necessary action and expose the matter soon,” the police’s response read.

The video was shared a while back and pulled countless reactions. Taking to the comment section, people shared their take.

“Theft was also committed from a place where it could be easily caught,” a user said. “Face is visible..Easy to catch him,” added a second person. “His face was visible in the CCTV footage, but I don't know whether the police caught him or not,” commented a third user. “Such people should think that when a mobile is stolen, there is data in the phone, it may never be found after the phone is stolen,” wrote another.

“The boy came quietly and stole a phone very easily without any fear. What is even going on,” wrote another. “That's nothing, The number of things I've lost and never got back even when we have CCTV footage are endless......... In India u can't expect to get your things back once stolen,” added a sixth user.
