Viral Video: Stealing was never an encouraged act in the society, but aggressively and arrogantly denying of doing the same after getting caught red-handed, has always been even more triggering. Something similar happened in Mumbai, where an aunty, unaware of the CCTV camera installed nearby, stole some eggs from a shop while the shopkeeper was busy cooking. However, the shopkeeper was quick enough to notice the sudden absence of the stolen eggs, which led him to accuse the woman of stealing.

The incident turned further interesting after the same accused began to deny the accusations and instead began to argue. However, the tables took a quick turn when the shopkeeper revealed the camera that recorded the entire thing. The date and the exact location of the incident could not be confirmed. The CCTV footage of the same was also shared on social media, which went viral almost immediately, drawing reactions from people.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Arhant Shelby’. The post was reshared on the handle ‘Ghar ke kalesh’, with the caption, “Kalesh b/w Shopkeeper and Aunty over Stealing Eggs on Cam in Mumbai.”

The video went viral and left people reacting and chastising the woman. Most demanded action against her, while the rest criticised her arrogance even after getting caught. Some also cracked jokes on the same. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 570K views from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “She is stealing eggs and then lying..it is shameful. There is a camera installed, otherwise she would have got the shopkeeper beaten up,” a user said. “After the effects of realising that eggs are the source of energy of the superior race,” added a second person. “CCTV Installation is necessary if you run a shop,” commented a third user.

“Eggs are getting famous today,” added a fourth user. “Household income is gone beyond reach,” wrote a fifth person. “What kind of people are these? They stole the egg, sold their integrity, and on top of that they are arrogant,” commented a sixth user. “Can you expose politicians' scams and crimes as well? Well, you can't this is all you can post,” wrote another.
