Mumbai Local Train Viral Video: Turning public transport into a talent hunt stage yet again, a video of a woman dancing on a moving Mumbai local train surfaced online. As soon as the clip was shared, netizens were quick to point out its similarities with incidents that take place on the Delhi metro on a daily basis with people doing all sorts of performances. Many were also angered over the video and chastised the increase in such activities which often end up causing trouble for other commuters. Lavani dance style is popular in Maharashtra and is a combination of traditional song and dance. The famous dance style is performed on an instrument called Dholki. 

The post was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘mumbaimatterz’. The post was captioned, “Earlier We had #BellyDancing inside #MumbaiLocal Trains. Now it's Maharashtra's #Lavni's turn. #IndianRailaways Trains and Railway stations seem to be the perfect platform to showcase Dancing talent. #Navratri.”

The video is doing rounds on social media as many were not happy with the post. Some blamed the user for encouraging such activities by sharing about the people involved in them, while others compared the incident with Delhi metro incidents where people take to the metro to perform stunts and dances. The video was posted yesterday and garnered views in thousands.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their views. “Most difficult 30 sec Loved the attitude of the girl behind,” a user commented. “Inke clips post karke inko jo attention chahiye wahi aap de rahe ho! (You are giving them the attention they need by posting their clips),” said a second person. “Delhi Metro and Mumbai Local Making cringe content,” commented a third netizen. “ye kya chal raha hai bhai :-) inko reality shows nahi milte kya..this is stupidity at no level (What is going on? Why don’t they participate in reality shows),” posted a fourth person. “Nothing vulgar or cheap in her dance .only showing happiness..much needed ..train mein aurto ko mara Mari karte hue dekh ke enjoy and share karne walo ko dance dekh kar problem ho rahi hai (This is better than the people who create chaos in train with their fights, she is just enjoying),” joined a fifth netizen.
