Viral Video: Raising yet again an ample number of concerns over the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, another troubling incident came forward from Greater Noida, that left people fumed. Openly defying all the laws, multiple petrol pump workers were seen brutally thrashing a customer. A video of the incident was captured by one of the commuters, who later shared it on social media. The video went viral and left netizens outraged. As soon as the clip began to grab eyeballs, it also came into the notice of the UP Police, who promptly jumped into action.
As per the viral post, a case was registered in the matter at the Kotwali Bisrakh area. Later, updating on the matter, the UP Police informed about the arrest of three petrol pump employees who were involved in the incident.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘ManojSh28986262’. The post was captioned, “Petrol pump employees have no fear of the law or the government! They beat up a customer in public!! In Greater Noida, UP, a customer who came to fill petrol at a petrol pump was slapped by a group of petrol pump employees in broad daylight. The case is being reported from the Kotwali Bisrakh area.”

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral on social media. Most people were triggered by the violence that the workers displayed during broad daylight, while the rest demanded action against the accused. Many also expressed their concerns over the man’s well-being.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Although the custom was to keep bouncers only in hotels, now they are being kept in toll plazas, petrol pumps, hospitals and schools. What is even going on in this country?” a user said. “Perhaps those wearing the employee uniforms at the petrol pump have a special exemption,” commented a second person.
“Is petrol pump ke karmchariyon per kanuni kaarvayi honi chahie jinhone maarpeet Ki Hai kripya Noida police sangyan len (these petrol pump employees should face interrogation and some action by the UP Police. Please take a look at the case, UP Police),” added a third person. “How come no one is saying anything about whatever is going on?” added another.
