Shows like 'Game of Thrones' are of the type that garners fans for years even after ending. Half the credit for such a success also goes to the apt casting. But have you ever imagined how it would have been if the characters were played by Indian actors? Answering the question, an AI artist imagined some of the iconic characters of the show being played by an Indian cast. The video of the same is going viral on social media as most people loved the cast selection.

The video showed some of the iconic characters being played by Indian actors. The prominent roles of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen were given to Ranveer Singh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan respectively. While the roles of the Lannister siblings, Tyrion, Jaime and Cersei were given to Kay Kay Menon, Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu, in the same order. Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani were seen in the roles of the Stark sisters, Arya and Sansa.

The video went viral as the netizens loved the accurate casting of the actors. The video received nods from the people in the form of many upvotes on the post. Taking to the comment section, the netizens shared their views.

'Game of Thrones' is a show with a huge fanbase, that was released in 2011. The series was based on the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire' novels written by George R R Martin. The show ran for eight seasons and ended in 2019.
