Viral Video: Humanity, by now, is pretty much aware of how the food chain works. The hierarchy is even clearer when it comes to the wild. And there is also no doubt about the fact that most reptiles are considered among the top ones in the food chain. Perhaps that’s the reason why this video, which is going viral, left people confused. The video showed a rabbit attacking a snake that was seemingly trying to run away. The incident took place in the middle of a street, where the traffic on both sides stopped to let ‘nature take its course’.
Towards the end of the clip, the snake managed to reach the other end of the road, however, the rabbit did not leave the snake’s trail. The clip, soon after getting viral, left people commenting over their ‘confusion’ about how the food chain was working as the said incident unfolded.
The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Pubity’. The post was captioned, “I don’t think this is how the animal chain is supposed to work.” The video was shared a few hours ago and pulled 150K likes from people.

The video, soon after getting shared, went viral and left people commenting. Most found the incident ‘bizarre and unnatural’, while the rest called it an example of ‘reversed food chain’. Many also expressed their confusion.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Bunny after listening to a motivational training: I will not be a victim anymore,” a user said. “Fear is conditioned and not innate,” added a second person. “I don't know what happened, but I know the snake was wrong,” commented a third user. “The snake got near the rabbit's babies I'd expect,” added another.
“Might be a momma bunny trying to protect her babies,” commented a fifth person. “No, no! No! Something is wrong. Dude, he's out of medication,” read a sixth comment. “Maybe the snake killed the rabbit's family, and now it's avenging them!” added another. “Slow and steady wins the race. Fast and furious eats the snake,” wrote another.
