Viral Video: How wrong can a failed theft attempt go? Well, for this thief, the answer turned into ‘very wrong’, the minute he chose to snatch a woman’s purse inside a bus. A video of an old incident recently resurfaced on social media and left people laughing and satisfied with the end. A man, along with a companion, attempted to snatch a woman passenger’s purse inside the said bus, but the driver in turn closed the electric door shut. With his hand trapped in the door, the thief was stuck inside the bus alone, as his friend ran away. The matter then turned into an even funnier lesson when the driver took out a bat, and began to hit the thief, all while also driving the bus.

At the end of the clip, the thief was seen getting arrested by the police, who were called on the spot. The entire incident was recorded on the CCTV camera installed on the bus. As the video went viral, many found the end justifying and hilarious.

The video went viral for its wild and hilarious nature. Most dubbed the thief unlucky and mocked his arrest, while the rest lauded the bus driver and appreciated the quick thinking and action he displayed. Many also cracked jokes about the entire incident.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “Guy attempts to steal a woman's purse on the bus and fails miserably.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled a whopping 1.4M views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Bus driver not only ensured bro doesn't escape, but he also took the matter on his hand, while driving.. wild AF,” a user said. “The driver bringing out the Baseball bat (or what looks like a baseball bat) is incredible,” wrote a second person. “This Bus Driver deserves an award! Perfect timing to shut the doors. The reason I’m laughing is how the friend ran and left him,” added a third.
