When rules to eliminate any kind of school punishments were established, they were welcomed with mixed reactions. Some were against the rules and believed that punishments were important in shaping kids and keeping them ‘inline’, while others sided with the rules and called such measures necessary. With that said, a video is going viral on social media, where the latter category suddenly started making more sense. In the video, a woman was seen beating up a student with a belt after she refused to apologise for some unknown reason. The viral video’s caption revealed that the woman in question was a teacher. Although the date and location of the clip were not confirmed, it appeared as if the incident took place inside a classroom full of chairs, benches, and other students who were evidently shaken after the attack started in the video.

The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “Wyd if a supply teacher does this to your kid?”

The video went viral as most people were irked over the lady for displaying such unprofessional behaviour. Some called her out for her inability to control emotions and unfit for teaching, while others enquired about the consequences that the teacher later faced and expressed their concerns for the student’s safety. The video was shared today and pulled 198K views from people.
