Israel-Iran Conflict:  The Middle East is experiencing one of the most tragic and volatile periods of its entire geopolitical history. Israel, backed by the United States and the West, remained at 'undeclared' war with Iran, which is fighting through its militant proxies spread from Houthi militia in Yemen to Hamas in Palestine.

Experts warn that the current West Asian escalation could turn into a major regional or even global scale conflict if not dealt with properly. While the recent warfare witnessed heavy Israeli military strikes in Gaza, Rafah, Beirut and even in Iran, there was a time six years ago when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu offered the Jewish nation's help to Iranian people struggling with severe water scarcity.

Six years ago, when Iran was facing grave water stress, which directly affected over 50 million Iranians, Israel tried to lend its help to alleviate them from the dire situation. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, in a bid to extend his help to the people of Iran, released a video in which he offered to share Israel's water-related technologies with the Iranian people which would help them in tackling the issues of water scarcity and drought.

"Today, I'm going to make an unprecedented offer to Iran. It relates to water. The Iranian people are victims of a cruel and tyrannical regime that denies them vital water. Israel stands with the people of Iran, and that is why I want to help save countless Iranian lives," Netanyahu could be seen saying in the six-year-old video.

"Iran’s meteorological organization says that nearly 96% of Iran suffers from some level of drought. Isa Kalantari, a former Iranian agriculture minister, said that 50 million Iranians could be forced out of their homes due to environmental damage—50 million," he further added while addressing the Iranians.

Want To Share Our Technology

"Israel also has water challenges, but we've developed cutting-edge technologies to address them. Israel recycles nearly 90% of its wastewater—far more than any other country on Earth. We invented drip irrigation, a technology that targets individual plants with exactly the nutrients they need. Israel has the know-how to prevent environmental catastrophe in Iran, and I want to share this information with the people of Iran," Netanyahu tells Iranian people.

'Life To The Iranian People'

In the last part of the video, Netanyahu made the offer of help, informing the Iranian people that Israel had launched a Farsi website which contained information on its cutting-edge water conservation and recycling technologies.

"Sadly, Iran bans Israelis from visiting, so we’ll have to get creative. We will launch a Farsi website with detailed plans on how Iranians can recycle their wastewater. We will show how Iranian farmers can save their crops and feed their families."

"The Iranian regime shouts 'Death to Israel.' In response, Israel shouts 'Life to the Iranian people.' The people of Iran are good and decent. They shouldn't have to face such a cruel regime alone. We are with you, and we will help so that millions of Iranians don’t have to suffer. The hatred of Iran's regime will not stop the respect and friendship between our two peoples," the video ends.
