A strange glowing orb spiralled through the night sky over parts of the UK, leaving residents in awe and confusion. Many described the sight as "beautiful" yet baffling, as the luminous circular object appeared for only a few minutes before fading away. The sudden appearance of the glowing spiral sparked widespread speculation online.

As the images circulated, people speculated about the nature of the mysterious spinning light. Some believed it to be a meteorological event, while others wondered if it was an unidentified flying object (UFO). The fleeting nature of the spiral made it difficult for many to determine its origin, adding to the intrigue. 

A user shared the video of the glowing orb, captioning it, "Strange orb spiralling spotted over UK Manchester / Monday 24 March 2025." Another witness described the sighting as "a mysterious glowing orb spiralling through the night sky," which sparked widespread excitement and speculation before being linked to a recent SpaceX rocket launch.

However, not everyone was convinced by the official explanation. One user fueled conspiracy theories by commenting, "Weird glowing orb spotted spiralling in the sky across the UK—Operation Bluebeam is being trialled!!!" The viral footage has ignited a wave of discussions, with many debating whether the phenomenon was a natural space event or something more mysterious.

The SpaceX Connection: A Logical Explanation

According to the UK’s Met Office, the glowing orb was likely linked to the recent launch of a SpaceX rocket carrying a US spy satellite. Similar spirals have been observed in the past, most notably in 2023 when a glowing spiral pattern appeared in the skies over the United States. That occurrence was later identified as excess fuel ejected from a SpaceX rocket launched from California. The recent UK sighting appears to be a repeat of that same phenomenon.

This is not the only unusual aerial sighting that has made headlines recently. Just last week, people across Ireland were left puzzled by an "unusual object" seen in the night sky on two consecutive nights. Two flashing objects were observed over Dublin on Wednesday, while a single flashing light was spotted off Ireland’s south coast on Tuesday night. These incidents have further fueled curiosity about unexplained aerial phenomena.

While the glowing spiral in the UK sky may have initially seemed mysterious, expert analysis points to a rational explanation—fuel ejection from a SpaceX launch. The growing presence of private space missions and satellite deployments means that such sightings may become more common in the future. Regardless of the explanation, the stunning display provided a moment of wonder for those who witnessed it firsthand.
