US President Donald Trump’s repeated mix-up between Armenia and Albania has turned into a running joke among European leaders. The confusion came up again during the European Political Community meeting in Copenhagen this week. At the summit, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama jokingly told French President Emmanuel Macron and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, "You should apologise to us because you didn’t congratulate us on the peace deal President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan."
This made Aliyev laugh, while Macron responded with a sarcastic apology: "I am sorry for that."
The joke was aimed at Trump, who has several times mistakenly said Albania instead of Armenia when talking about the peace deal he helped arrange between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
For example, at a press event with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump mispronounced Azerbaijan as “Aber-baijan” and wrongly claimed, “We settled Aber-baijan and Albania,” instead of Armenia.
Trump Humiliated: In a hilarious moment, the President of Azerbaijan and the PM of Albania huddle with President Macron, brutally mocking Trump for his deranged boasts about ending a war between them.

Whether Trump help broker a truce between Armenia and Azerbaijan?
Just last month, he told Fox News that he had ended a long war between Azerbaijan and Albania, even though the conflict was actually between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In reality, Trump did help broker a truce between Armenia and Azerbaijan at the White House in August, which stopped decades of fighting. He often cites this deal as proof that he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize, claiming he has ended seven wars since becoming president. But his repeated geography blunders continue to cause laughter and mockery worldwide.
Trump claims he stopped 7 conflicts
In his address to world leaders from the UN podium last week, Trump had repeated his claim that he stopped seven conflicts including the recent between India and Pakistan.
"I have settled so many wars since we're here. We're here almost nine months, and I've settled seven. And yesterday we might have settled the biggest of them all, although I don't know, Pakistan (and) India was very big, both nuclear powers, I settled that,” Trump repeated his claim in his latest remarks to military leaders in Quantico.
India has been consistently maintaining that the understanding on cessation of hostilities with Pakistan was reached following direct talks between the Directors General of Military Operations of the two militaries.
