A new documentary titled The Age of Disclosure has ignited fresh controversy in the UFO community, alleging that former US President George H.W. Bush privately revealed details of a 1964 alien encounter to a Pentagon-linked astrophysicist. The film features a striking interview with Dr. Eric Davis, a scientist who served as an advisor to the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), created in 2007 by the late Senator Harry Reid.

According to Davis, Bush, who served as a decorated Naval aviator and CIA Director before becoming president, disclosed the extraordinary account during private conversations in 2003. Davis claims Bush told him that three alien spacecraft approached a US military base in 1964, and one of the crafts landed on the tarmac.

In the account attributed to Bush, “a non-human entity deboarded the craft that landed and interacted with uniformed Air Force and civilian CIA personnel.” Davis says he attempted to probe further but was informed by officials that he did not have the “need-to-know,” a phrase often used to restrict access within intelligence circles. He did not describe physical evidence, the type of craft, or the appearance of the entities.

Legacy Program And Russian UFO Crash Resurface

The documentary centers on a purported top-secret government UFO retrieval initiative known as the “Legacy Program.” According to interviewees, the program is allegedly run by undisclosed factions of the CIA, US Air Force, Department of Energy, and private defense contractors, entities said to have recovered crashed alien vehicles and bodies over decades.

Davis also repeats longstanding claims of a 1988 UFO crash in Russia, where alien remains were allegedly recovered from a damaged “tic-tac” shaped craft. Quantum physicist and disclosure advocate Hal Puthoff, another former AATIP member featured in the film, asserts there are “several different types of extraterrestrials,” though no new physical evidence is presented.

Claims Of Injuries From Contact With Unknown Craft

The film includes testimony from prominent Stanford immunologist Dr. Gary Nolan, who describes severe biological effects in military personnel allegedly exposed to unidentified anomalous phenomena. Nolan recounts seeing “horrific burns,” neurological injuries, and internal brain scarring in patients brought to him by CIA intermediaries and aerospace contractors.

Retired Navy and Air Force intelligence officer Mike Flaherty similarly asserts he suffered medical complications from close contact with a craft during his service.

Several US lawmakers, including former Senator Marco Rubio and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, appear in the documentary, cautioning that secrecy surrounding UFO incidents may hinder national security. Rubio argues it is “naive” to assume presidents are fully briefed, while Gillibrand stresses that unidentified objects may be advanced technology from adversarial nations like China or Russia.
