United States President Donald Trump on Friday gave Hamas what he called “one last chance” to accept a proposed peace plan for Gaza. Setting a deadline for Sunday evening, Trump threatened severe consequences, stating that the group would face “all hell” with more attacks if it failed to comply.

“An Agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at 6 pm, Washington, D.C. time,” Donald Trump wrote Friday on social media.

“Every Country has signed on! If this last chance agreement is not reached, all hell, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas."

“There will be peace in the Middle East one way or other,” Trump warned.

"I am asking that all innocent Palestinians immediately leave this area of potentially great future death for safer parts of Gaza. Everyone will be well cared for by those who are waiting to help. Fortunately for Hamas, however, they will be given one last chance!” the US President said in a post on Truth Social.

Trump added that several Middle Eastern and neighbouring countries have already agreed to back the peace deal. "This deal also spares the lives of all remaining Hamas Fighters," he added. "The details of the document are known to the world, and it is a great one for all!" he wrote in the post.

Trump's 20-point Gaza Peace Plan

Trump announced a 'Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict' on Monday after talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

It entails that Gaza will be a deradicalised, terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbours and will be redeveloped. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners and 1700 Gazans who were detained after October 7, 2023, including all women and children. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.

Eight Arab and Muslim majority nations on Tuesday welcomed Trump's 20-point plan to end the war.
