2026 Tata Tiago EV:  The 2026 Tata Tiago ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and Tiago EV facelift will be launched in India on May 28, 2026. The brand has recently unveiled the upcoming Tata Tiago ICE and EV facelift in the country. The brand has made significant changes to the design of the Tiago to enhance its presence in the segment. A major facelift version of the popular hatchback was launched in 2020, and the upcoming update will be the first major upgrade in the last 6 years. Let’s take a look at the design, expected features, and specs of the upcoming 2026 Tata Tiago ICE and Tata Tiago EV facelift.

2026 Tata Tiago ICE And EV: Design

As mentioned earlier, the brand has made significant design changes to the Tata Tiago to improve its presence in the country. The 2026 Tata Tiago ICE and EV facelifts get new eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs with a new set of headlights. The ICE version of the hatchback gets a larger black grille, whereas the EV gets a body-coloured grille. On the sides, newly added 15-inch alloy wheels are visible, while the rear gets a new taillight setup with three vertical slats on each side and a horizontal line passing above them. The taillight seems to be a connected unit, and the brand’s logo is positioned in the centre. The rear bumper is redesigned, and the tailgate features Tiago badging.

2026 Tata Tiago ICE And EV: Expected Features

The interior of Tata's most affordable offering in the country has been redesigned. The hatchback gets a redesigned dashboard and a new steering wheel with the brand's illuminated logo in the centre. The hatchback now uses a bigger, 10.25-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The brand has not yet revealed other features, but we expect it to get 6 airbags, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, automatic headlights, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a cooled glovebox, and more.

2026 Tata Tiago ICE And EV: Expected Engine

While the brand has revised the design and features of the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift, the hatchback is expected to remain unchanged in terms of its powertrain. The 2026 Tiago ICE is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 86 hp and 113 Nm, respectively. The vehicle will also continue with a CNG powertrain, offering 75 hp and 96 Nm of torque. The Tiago EV is currently offered with options of either a 19.2 kWh battery pack or a 24 kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack has a claimed range of up to 223 kilometres, whereas the larger battery pack has a claimed range of up to 293 kilometres. The brand might equip the 2026 Tiago EV facelift with a larger battery pack.
