Mahindra XEV 9S Vs Kia Carens Clavis EV: The Mahindra XEV 9S has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The XEV 9S is the first 7-seater electric SUV in the country, and it is the second 7-seater electric car, followed by the Kia Carens Clavis. The Kia Carens Clavis was launched in July this year, and currently, it is the most affordable electric MPV in the country, with prices starting from Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The base model of the Mahindra XEV 9S is priced at Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), and it will be offered in a total of 6 variants. The base model of the Kia Carens Clavis EV, on the other hand, costs Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is also offered in a total of 6 variants. As is visible from the prices listed in the table, the base model of the Kia Carens Clavis EV is cheaper by Rs 1.60 lakh when compared to the Mahindra XEV 9S. Whereas the top model of the Kia Carens Clavis EV is more affordable by Rs 4.96 lakh than the XEV 9S.

Mahindra XEV 9S Vs Kia Carens Clavis EV: Features
The Mahindra XEV 9S comes equipped with several advanced features, including a triple-screen setup, boss-mode, ventilated second-row seats with reclining and sliding functions, and sunshades. It also gets a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, 5G connectivity, ambient lighting, an automatic temperature control system, Level 2 ADAS, and more. The Kia Carens Clavis EV, on the other hand, features a dual-screen setup, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting, an air purifier inside the cabin, ventilated front seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and more.

Mahindra XEV 9S Vs Kia Carens Clavis EV: Battery & Range
The Mahindra XEV 9S is available with options of either a 59 kWh battery pack, a 70 kWh battery pack, or a 79 kWh battery pack. The brand has not yet revealed the claimed range for the seven-seater electric SUV. Whereas the Kia Carens Clavis EV is available with options of either a 42 kWh or a 51.4 kWh battery pack. The Carens Clavis EV has a claimed range of 404 kilometres with the 42 kWh battery pack, whereas the claimed range for the 51.4 kWh battery pack stands at 490 kilometres, once completely charged.
