According to a statement from Mahindra, the company is on schedule to release as many as five all-electric SUVs by October 2026, as promised last year. On August 15, 2022, the business displayed its model line in the United Kingdom, and Mahindra declared a commitment of Rs 10,000 crore to the EV industry.
Rajesh Jejurikar, executive director, Auto & Farm Sectors at the Mahindra Group, stated on Friday at the company's quarterly results news conference, "We have a really attractive portfolio and it is on track. It's something that's drawing money to our EV company. We were successful in securing a second investor at a significantly greater valuation.
Equity Fund Temasek, located in Singapore, has disclosed plans to invest Rs 1,200 crore for a 1.49 percent to 2.97 percent stake in Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited.
The INGLO skateboard platform from Mahindra will serve as the foundation for all following EVs. The platform's battery capacity will range from 60 to 80 kWh and feature both Blade and Prismatic cell architectures. According to the manufacturer, the architecture will provide fast charging up to 175kW, which can charge an electric vehicle up to 80% in just 30 minutes. The ability to have a single motor or two motors in a vehicle based on this platform enables the production of 2WD and 4WD versions of the same vehicle.

It's interesting to note that the platform might incorporate VW parts to save costs because the two brands have agreed to evaluate the potential for partnership.
Mahindra XUV.e8
The e8 electric SUV will probably be identical to the present Mahindra XUV700 upon which it is based. However, compared to the XUV700, it is 45mm longer, 10mm wider, and 5mm taller, with only a 7mm increase in wheelbase. With an 80kWh battery pack, the XUV.e8 is predicted to have power outputs between 230 and 350 horsepower. According to the company, the launch is most likely going to happen in December 2024.
Mahindra XUV.e9
Mahindra authorised the creation of the XUV700 SUV coupe in May 2021. This model will probably be known as the XUV900 and have a roof that slopes downward toward the back. This coupe SUV will also come in an electric form, known as the XUV.e9. The XUV.e8 SUV's powertrain specifications are anticipated to be shared, with the main significant variation being exterior body style. By April 2025, the model will possibly come out.
Mahindra BE.05
Recently, the BE.05 electric SUV was discovered undergoing testing in India, and when Jejurikar posted a picture of it on Twitter, we even got an overview of the interior. This SUV will compete with the Tata Curvv, which is scheduled to go on sale in 2024. The BE.05 is 4.3 metres long in concept form, and we may anticipate that the actual SUV will be of a similar size. By October 2025, the SUV will likely be prepared for sale.

Mahindra BE Rall-E
A version of the BE.05 SUV that is better designed for off-road use is the Mahindra BE Rall-E. The Rall-E differs from the BE.05 in that it has body cladding, revised front and rear bumpers, substantial off-road tires, and a roof-mounted carrier with a spare tire. The BE.05 and the electric SUV are anticipated to be on sale in October 2025.
Mahindra BE.07
The BE.07, which has a slightly longer wheelbase than the BE.05 at 4.6 metres, will sit between the XUV700 and the Hyundai Creta because it shares the same platform. It boasts a huge panoramic sunroof and an interior devoid of conventional buttons in favour of a capacitive touchscreen that runs the entire length of the dashboard. By October 2026, the BE.07 SUV is anticipated to be ready for production.
